I studied the night,
for a reason to live.
Possess my sight,
as It comes to cleanse us of our sins.
Hollow chills down my spine, day turns to night.
Sky splits wide like a titan's eye.
Pulled forth into blackest light,
as It calls my name.
A form like pulsing glass.
Swallowed by Its embrace.
I know not your name.
Existing out in the black of infinity.
Dark decent through aeons past.
Arise from the gloom.
Suffer at the monument of existence,
and breathe in the new world.
As It sits upon Its throne of stars.
Mankind revels, in their greedy ways.
Dark sacraments, utter from The Void
Relinquishing, these chains of old.
An unholy fixation, on the extinction of all.
Planetary Reprise, Humanity's downfall.
Hollow chills down my spine, day turns to night.
Sky splits wide like a titan's eye.
Pulled forth into blackest light,
as It calls my name.
The ground gives way underneath me,
as the Earth quakes before his might.
Shapeless creatures taunt my mind,
Chaos drowning everything in sight.
A form like pulsing glass.
Swallowed by Its embrace.
I know not your name.
Existing out in the black of infinity.
Dark decent through aeons past.
Arise from the gloom.
Now welcome The Void.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
