I won’t feel the same again.
Darkness wraps around my bleeding brain.
It sees with its lidless eye.
I have no control over my mind. (X2)
As the serpent,
crawls up my spine.
It seethes and pulsates,
and clouds my mind.
All these voices inside my head,
make me wish that I was dead. (X2)
Making me wish that I was dead.
I dance in filth,
as the colour fades.
I, the pale one,
Bringer of Death.
All these voices inside my head,
make me wish that I was dead.
You must destroy all your loved ones.
Put a bullet in each of their heads.
Right between the fucking eyes,
for all they’ve told you is lies of your end.
They never told you how to stave off the darkness if it comes knocking,
sadly if they had there’s no way to control me.
No chance to stop me for my only purpose is to fucking haunt you.
I burrow into your mind. (I burrow into your mind.)
Whisper to you of your life,
and when to kill again.
So when you open your eyes to see,
your world without life,
no family left to light your way.
You’ll lose your fucking mind
I won’t feel the same again.
Darkness wraps around my bleeding brain.
It sees with its lidless eye.
I have no control over my mind.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
